Life is sweet! Things are moving so fast I can't keep up and you thought I was layin' low:)    I have been working the whole time. Shows, appearances, interviews that's right, you're girl never left. So I've been told that there have been "Mary Jane Girls" appearences all over but I also hear that the fans aren't happy because there were promises of me singing lead( as I always did) only to find it was "someone else". Just food for thought, if there are MJG shows ANYwhere, know that JoJo will never be apart of it so don't get fooled. I am looking to the future and although grateful for my past, life is ever changing so you have to change with it or...get left behind.  I hope you'll love my new music as you did the old. Talk to  me, tell what you think.

Hi Jojo. been a fan for years. You were always my favorite and still beautiful. Glad you have a site and now a blog. Listen, I went to one of the shows with the fake MJGs and was very disapointed. John, Thanks for all the love! Unfortunately, what i've been told is that they're out there either trying to pass someone else off as me or saying that I'm sick, out of town, unavailable, etc and doing very poor quality work. All this is being done w/ permission from the Rick James estate. I've been out here doing the music under the name 'JOJO ORIGINAL LEAD SINGER OF THE MARY JANE GIRLS' just so that when fans come, they can see and hear the real deal. Hopefully, I'll get to your area soon to make up for damage done:)

Antonio Thank you and God bless you for your words of wisdom, timed so correctly. It's been only through the grace of God that I have made it thus far and only He keeps me sane and going. What do (vocally) truly is His gift and I am still amazed. A table was prepared for me in the presence of mine enemies is the way I sum up all the drama. Yes, I do pray for the former group members and hold no animosity in my heart towards them or the way they are handling the demise of our group. The devil was busy then and he still is and I hope and pray that someday they will be able to see that. We all have a path to walk and I'm just trying to walk mine as straight as I can:) Every path is individual, but we all need the Light to see our way. May God be the light on yours now and always. Sorry for the delay in responding, John. In answer to your question, NO!!!!! This is the kind of fraud that has been perpetuated by some of the so-called original members and an impostor. The impostor has even been bold enough on occasion to say that she is me to secure deposits and shows! I am working with my legal counsel to put a stop to this charade once and for all. I am truly saddened by the passing of Michael Jackson today. He touched many souls through the magic of music and dance. One of my fondest memories is meeting him in his green room at the Grammy's when he won 8 out of 12 awards that night. I wanted to meet him, didn't see any of his security, so I walked in. As I was walking toward him, hand extended, and getting ready to tell him who I was, he said "Iknow who you are. I love your voice and your songs." I told him we did our dance warmups to "THRILLER' Idon't remember much else from that conversation cause all that was going thru my head was 'omg,he actually knew who we were"!!! I was done!!!! DO YOU REMEMBER THE TIME?" still makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up!!! And BILLIE JEAN", and on and on.... The world of music will never be the same....and neither will mine......

Jo Jo, life is sweet. I just want you to know that in Mary Jane Girls All Night Long. You are the coolest woman that I have ever seen in my life. The way you look when you be walking back and forth across the stage. The way you dance, the way you dress, and the way you look with them cornrolls hanging down in your face. And being that you represent females. You really make women look cool.(with that smooth and caviar type sharpness)You know what I'm saying? Or like T-Boz of TLC, w/ that mean taper hairstyle she use to wear in the 90's. Just other examples of females looking cool. So you and the Mary Jane Girls were doing a good job at it. And still are. Hello Jo Jo, first of all, I like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. And hoping that your music will continue throughout the decades to come. That's what makes me happy. Now getting back to the subject of this story. I didn't know that Val Young was like that. In a matter of fact, I don't even like her anymore. I refuse to listen to anything else that she has ever made. And have deleted anything that I have ever saved of Val's as a favorite on Youtube. And hope that she and Rich James daughter "Ty" gets just what's coming to them. What ate they so crusty that they can't go out there and get there own? Have not seen you since your buffalo days. I was Larry's lady. You put your lipstick lip print on paper for my toddler. We were visiting on Riley. I still love your music.
